On June 7th, Adams County Communications alerted Company 20 originally for an automatic fire alarm at Maple Avenue Middle School. Shortly after dispatching the fire alarm, the call was upgraded to a commercial fire response. Engine 202, 201, and Engine tanker responded to the school along with Engine 33-3 and Quint 29. It was determined that two squirrels crossing wires outside the school caused a power issue which caused the smoke in the school.
