This morning about 7:05 Alpha and mutual aid partners were alerted for a house fire on Hickory Ln. The investigation lead to a hover board stored in a plastic bin. The fire was contained to the room or origin and no injuries were reported. Working smoke detectors quickly notified the occupants. Quick response by the departments and personnel kept this a minor nature. Please make sure to read warning labels on electronics and how to properly store them. There have been several incidents reported recently involving electronics and issues with their batteries.
